Da Mojo has historically been a casual raiding guild. Right now we are excited about the changes to Azeroth that Cataclysm has brought. We are a group of adults who work, go to school and raise families. Maturity is a must for all our members. This has kept Da Mojo strong for over six years now. We do not attempt to be first in anything. We raid to have fun with our online friends and families. Gear and other loot comes secondary on our list of fun. Many guilds boast a drama free environment with a helpful and friendly membership base. Although no guild may truly claim to be drama free, Da Mojo truly embodies the friendly and helpful aspect while keeping drama almost non-existent. Our leadership is strong and active. Anyone considering membership is more than welcome to log onto our server and look up ANY member of Da Mojo and ask them any questions you might have about our guild.
We are delighted that you have (re)joined us and we hope that you find a happy home here for your WoW adventures.
Raiding Update:
We seem to have gotten a handle on that pesky Deathwing fellow, although he strangely keeps coming back after we kill him. We have done it half a dozen times now, and yet he still shows up bathing in the maelstrom every week. Don't worry Azeroth, we'll keep trying ;)
It's our birthday soon. The guild is almost 6 years old! *holds up 9 fingers*:
Yes, you read that right ... Da Mojo will be six years old this month. We are planning in-game celebrations to go along with this wonderful milestone, and we'll be inviting the server to celebrate with us!
Last week we added Warmaster Blackhorn to our list of conquests, and this week we overcame Spine of Deathwing. Then, for good measure, we dipped our toes into the maelstrom and waved at Crazy Deathwing a couple of times. We haven't quite managed to flush him down the big orange swirly just yet (although he did resort to cheating and killing me in the maelstrom for no reason at all on the last attempt ... hax!) ... but he will be taking a big, fiery bath one day soon, I'm sure.
We welcomed Greengaz to the team today, when he stepped in for Gorathy (who was off celebrating a birthday ... Happy Birthday, G-man!) ... good to have you with us, Green!
Welcome also to new guild members, Kromak and Wane. We hope that you will enjoy being members of Da Mojo!
Because we are interested in developing long-term members, we accept applications from players at a variety of levels. We are not an alt or twink guild, so you should not apply if you are only looking for a place to park your secondary character while you do most of your adventuring somewhere else. If you are interested in raiding, you should be aware that raid team membership in Da Mojo requires a mature outlook and particular commitments, which are clearly spelled out in our guild rules. Because we are more interested in recruiting excellent people than particular classes or specs, applications are always open regardless of what type of character you love to play. Please put in your application and we will get in touch with you in game about your application. Real life family and friends of our current members are always welcome.
Our needs can change day to day so we don't advertise what classes are needed or not. Please put in your application and we will get in touch with you in game about your application. We will always accept those regardless of class or spec for real life Family and Friends of our current members.
